The
"I Dream of Jeannie" Doll Display is a custom recreation of
the bottle top set in perfect Barbie™ scale.
Comprised of lightweight
mixed media, it is perfectly proportioned to the original set used
during the run of the series. As diehard fans usually noticed, the
giant prop, was slightly more elongated than the actual mouth of a
standard 1964 Jim Beam bottle and I have faithfully represented that
in this piece, as well as the "chubby edge" roll that curled
inwards from the mouth. The Doll Display in the photograph is an
accurate, one-of-a-kind display currently owned by a private
collector.
